Hi Everyone,

I currently have a 2001 Protege ES and a 2000 Miata (Supercharged). I am very interested in trading in my Protege for a Mazdaspeed Protege, I have been in contact with my dealer and have a deposit on a Yellow.

My question is: As I understand the Mazdaspeed Proteges a limited run for 2003/2003.5, does Mazda intend or have plans yet to produce Mazdaspeed Proteges for next year?

there will be another run for 2003.5.

And probably for 2004 and beyond, but nothing official yet. The Mazda3 (replacement for the Protege) will be unveiled at the Geneva auto show, and information on a Mazdaspeed3 should be coming after that.

there will be almost without question a mazdaspeed 3

but i think 2003.5 will be the end of the mazdaspeed protege since the 3 is expected for 04
