anyone ever think about just getting these laser cut from a machine shop.they would look awsome,and would cost a s*** load due too the speed of laser cutting.

I'll talk to the shop next door,and see what it would cost for them to do it.
I know they have a $100 minimun though

i dont see spending over $40 for this, so no.

i think he means 100 dollar minimum for the complete order, meaning the more people in on it the less expensive it costs each individual person, plus it would be easy for them to do the different numbers because its all programmed into the computer...

Im was using a lasengraver. The result wasn't deep enough so I went back to a conventional milling machine. I'm still tweaking and we got really busy so I haven't had a lot of time to work on them. Next week should be more promising so hnag tight with me they will be here soon.

Would you be able to make it the perfect size for the engine cover. You know how in the middle is says "Mazdaspeed" that would be pimp to have that aluminum there and them I can get it powdercoated black so it matches perfectly.

The engine plate would be larger, and thus easier to machine. Heck, you could even put the prod. # on that too. I think there would be interest in these as well Protege2ner

Okay. Im gonna put some pics up of what I have im still working with tooling and the program to get detail. These are small so it is a little harder. THIS IS NOT THE FINAL PRODUCT. When I get home ill put a pic up so you guys can get an idea of what they will look like.

Sorry the internet was down last night so here is the final product.... I will set up a thread for buyers later on today or you can PM me and Ill tell ya where to send the info and the cash. Final price is gonna be $25.00 because the tooling was a little more and the padded envelopes and shipping were a little more than I had thought.
