Hey Guys, just wondering if anyone has done anything with the interior? I was thinking about wrapping the fabric part of the doors in some graffiti fabric and I was wondering if anyone else tried something like this?

The fabric is this:

My interior is light so I think it will match pretty good. Let me know what you guys think!!

Thanks,
Matt

i never really thought of wrapping the fabric on the doors, but i guess it would look pretty good and wouldnt be too difficult

it may look a little inner city but if thats what you like i say go for it and post pics when its done!

The only problem I can see is if it sucks you are going to have to track down new/used door panels and such. That could be tough.

i agree. BUT besides that, you should def do it and post pics like dude said!

I was thinking about that as well.. But the way I was going to do it was to see if I can pop off the pannel and tuck the fabric around it as best as I can. I won't be using any glue or anything like that (at least not on the front so if I don't like it atleast I will only be messing up the back of the pannel and no one will ever no lol).

I think it could look decent, but if you want to do it right you should use some fabric spray adhesive like what is used for headliners. The only downside I can see is making your car taste-specific which will make it more difficult to sell down the road.

lol, I was thinking about some other type of fabric or design to do it, but for some reason I keep coming back to the graffiti look. Not to many people do graffiti so I think it will stand out more, which is what im looking for.

That is the one thing that stops me from doing alot with this car lol. I try to do things to it that will not be totally permanent.

If you decide later on that you want to change it up you could always re- re-upholster those panels ;)

HAHA true true... well I think if I have some free time tonight I will see if I can start on this little project. Thanks for the support guys!!

what you could always do is lightly wrap it over the panels at first, just to see if you really like it, and then once you're sure, make it more permanent...while its true that you will make your car more taste specific, some people may fall in love with that grafiti design and be willing to pay more for such an inexpensive mod...

lol I can always hope people will think my car is god and will be willing to pay more lmao. But I haven't had a free chance to see if I can pop off the pannels and see if I can even do this project the way I would like to.
