Hi guys,
I posted this question a while ago, with no luck finding much help...So with ALL the new members, I thought I would see if someone could offer some suggestions/advice.
The material that is on the door panels, the soft velour stuff, is starting to look worn. If you drive with your arm on the door sill with the window down, this is where its looking worn. Also, the passenger side looks worn as well.
What I am thinking about trying to do is this...Taking the door panel off, and then taking the handle and all that off, so that I will be able to remove the soft velour fabric. I then have some yellow carbon fiber film that I want to put in the place of the velour.
Anyone know how to take the panels off? How hard were they to remove? What do I have to do? OR does anyone have any other suggestions on what else I could do to get rid of this problem?
I have seen that yellow car on protegetech.com. That car's interior has done somthing similiar to what I want to do...Aww...Here, I'll put a pic to show you...
I think the yellow on the dash/glovebox is a little too bright and a little too much for my tastes, but if you look at the door panel, you will see what I want to try to accomplish (just turned down a bit)...
Any help, or discussion on this issue would be really cool, cause its driving me crazy!!!
