it's a concept double din dvd/navi system...i got it as a gift from my girl(yeah she's a keeper) but install wasn't hard. just have to get a wiring harness kit. took about 45 minutes to install.

So this is basically going to document my painting several of my interior panels a different color. I had painted them orange, which looked pretty cool (thumb), but I decided I wanted to go for something a bit more sophistocated probably a dark silver or something. Here's the original action. I also painted the panels surrounding the window controls.

So far I've only completed a bit of sanding:

Hopefully I'll keep this up to date.

How did you pull the panels surrounding the window controls...?
there's nothing in the service manual documenting their removal...!

Just use a screwdriver or something to pry it up a bit then pull it up.

THREAD RESURRECTION!!!

Soooo, I'm workin on my interior. Finally had enough free time this summer to do some work. changing it from bright orange to silver, for those of you just now joining our thread. I've filled in the huge stock head unit hole and put in some holes for some billet aluminum switches to control various stuff. so...if I were you, I wouldn't care about what I just said without...

PICTURES!!!

the whole deal. bondo-ed, sanded, primed, and ready for touch up filling:

close up of the filled/smoothed area. where does stock end and custom begin?? oooOOOooOOOooo....ok, not too impressive:
