2008.5 MazdaSpeed3
Hey all!

I'm pretty new to the Speed3 scene with my new 2008.5 Crystal Pearl White MS3 and although I would love to keep my car stock, I would love more power.

I have very close relations with a local company here in AZ and was talking to the head hancho Kent here from PowerLab/Intense Motorsports and he wanted some information on the Speed3 market for FMIC's.

If you all could help me out, please list out the manufacturers and their prices on their kits and if there's enough interest for a very well manufactured kit from my friends @ PowerLab, we can start fabricating some stuff up!

(Addition: PowerLab also has been fabricating amazing turbo kits and I can work this angle if people are also interested.)

Also, I would also love to see if you all were also interested in building an interest in the ProEFI. Currently, this system is the best computer engine management system I've ever seen and work closely with 2 race cars that is also testing it and breaking records (900whp G37, and a 1500whp Supra). Please help me help us all get enough interest to have the ProEFI map available for our cars because this would change the way performance means to our MazdaSpeed3's!

fmic are only good if you upgrade the turbo..
if you keep the stock turbo, just do a ETS tmic, thicker one.

just an fyi, Corksport.com has 2 FMIC kits and TurboXS has a good fmic kit..

if the price is right I'd be interested! value is very important to us colllege kids lol

Im not exactly sure on the prices, but there is a Begi, TurboXS, ATP, and Im pretty sure thats it. Cobb and CP-E will be coming out with one soon. They start at around 800 and work their way up. 800 is about the average cost.
If there was one for cheaper, i bet there would be a LOT of interest.

wrong, fmic is better for 1/4 mile runs, and long drives because it wont get any heat soak from being on top of the engine. i live in canada and my 2007 CWP MS3 had the ETS TIMC and it got mad heat soak, so bad that i had to change it out with a fmic, and was very impressed with the results, it made the HP/TQ curve very smooth, and made the drive that much more enjoyable

Thanks for the input guys! I'm working on some videos for their race cars we've been running and when I go in, I'll talk to Kent about what you've helped me research to possibly give us more options in the market.

Other comments are welcomed!
