intake problem

Ok, well i bought i cheap short ram air intake off of ebay and i installed it, but there is this one piece that goes nowhere. It is right by the back of the engine by the firewall. It has like 2 hoses and some wires going into this litle metal box. Does anyone know what im talking about, or what to do with it?

Is this it? If so, it's called the Purge Solenoid. Here's an idea on how to mount it.

where in there world did that come from? i have never seen that before i dont think....
there are so many dang sensors and what nots on these cars to choke a horse!

purge solenoid? damn i know nothing about these cars, i wouldn't ahve expected a purge solenoid without a n2o kit
