Intake frustrations and body upgrades

Got my black '03 MP5 in October, installed a short ram intake and now instead of getting 25-30 mpg i am getting 15-18! WHAT HAPPENED AND CAN I FIX IT?! Also I am looking for possible body upgrade, lights, body kit, NEW GRILL, etc. any idea where i could get some of those things? Thanks.

Did you let the ECU readjust itself by disconnecting the battery for 15 - 20 minutes and tapping the brakes a few times to discharge any current left?

have your O2 sensors checked. if your ECU wasnt reset you could be sucking to much air into your engine making it run to rich and could of burned out one of your O2 sensors

and if that's the case they can hold you liable and not cover it under warranty

Did youbreak your MAF sensor? That would make your ECU not know how much air the engine is pulling and run really rich.
