Instrument Light Bulb spec?

So, the instrument panel is very dim over on the left side where the gauges are, and I took out the dash to replace the bulbs:

Picture says it all. My car is a manual with no A/C, so I'm thinking some of the empty slots are specific to automatics or maybe something to do with A/C, but that's a lot of empty slots!

Also, the technical manual says the bulbs are 1.4 W, but I cannot for the life of me read the very faint information on the old bulbs. The two big guys are 198s, but what about the little ones?

Thanks.

Hey, thanks for not slagging me about neglecting to do a search. In any case, this is the relevant information from that thread:

Hawk73:
just did this in my P5 over the weekend, so wanted to add my comments. The 194 bulbs behind the speedo and tach were easy, as the Sylvania (or whatever brand at AutoZone) were a direct fit. Hardest part was fitting the orange rubber covers back over, and that was really wasn't bad.

However, the 2 smaller bulbs on the sides (for fuel/temp guage and tach redline) are NOT the 74 size that I keep hearing about. The 74s I bought from 2 different stores didn't fit right, as they were too wide/large. I could force them into the socket connector, but it spread out the plastic sides such that I couldn't get the connector back into the back of the circuit board. Took them back to the store with the factory bulb, and it looked like #2723 (I think) was the closest size match. Wattage was a tad higher, but nothing major. The 2723s fit perfectly and worked great once I put it all back together.

Keep in mind I was using traditional incandescents, not LEDs. So it could be that #74 LEDs do fit. YMMV.

So, 2723s for the little bulbs then. How about those empty sockets, anyone?

Those sockets are supposed to be empty. I thought the same when I did mine a while back and replaced with led's, looks exactly the same as yours.

The 12 black bulbs are the icon lights for cruise control etc....my cruise control works but my green light doesn't illuminate.
War size is that bulb?

i think they are 73/74 size i replace mine recently and some are the slim ones like the 73/74 some are 194/168 lights (bigger lights, for the dials) looked as most of the rest were 73/74
