Installing Tint...?

Does anyone know how to get the tint on the back of a '03 Protege to work? I've tried about 5 different times and it just won't stick, is it because of the defroster bars? If anyone has any advice, please lend it.

it has nothing to do with the defroster. just have to do it properly.
you have to cut it outside the car first than spray water on it and put on the rear window when it's on you have to remove the water between them (window and tint) (bike)

you are pulling the 2 pieces apart before you apply it correct? the clear part and the actual tint itself. Not trying to sound like a smartass or anything just making sure here.

wait, stop...

you need to put babypowder on the outside of the window and lay the tint down backwards over top of it. stick it down a little, and use a hairdryer to get it to form to the curve of the window.

if you don't get the curve of it right, it'll more than likely bubble up when the soapy water dries, and if not that, when it gets heated up this summer with a hot day, it could curl and pull up and look ******* retarded.
