Mazda Familia 323
Hey guys im new to this site but can tell ill be useing it alot...
I have a coupple problems, i have a 1990 Mazda familia 323 and i just got a Full Raptor Amp Wireing kit, but im useless when it comes
to electronics and cant really afford a pro to do it with a little insight im sure i can manage, so if anybody is familia with these kits and the car i have
i appreciate any feeback or help. as i had a little look i cannot find the hole in my firewall of my car anywhere looked everywhere n done some research
online aswell.
but have had no joy.

Second problem is and i have had it for a while and i have no idea why it is doing it. all the time when my car gets to half a tank of gas or under it cuts out on most
right hand turns never the left. i have tryed to think what could cause it and i think maybe the thermostat or float sensor or sumthin but im sure someone here
must kno a good deal on this and could possibly pin point what is causeing this? any help would be appreciated.

Chris.

cant help with the cutting out issue, but the wiring is pretty easy, just be creative.

in my old eagle talon, the wiring plug in the firewall was located in an impossible place to get too without removing 1/2 the top part of the engine (not an option for just running a single wire...)
anyways, I ran the wire down to just behind the driver fender wall, drilled a 1/4 inch hole, painted it real good with a type of rust type paint, then painted it with a rubber paint (plastdip) ran my wire through, then painted it heavily with the plastdip paint with about a dozen layers, it came out great, and the wire didnt vibrate at all. then I just ran it under the carpet to the rear hatch area.
the ground can be a problem, but if you can find a good bolt that is metal on metal, to the framing, that should suffice. you cna do the same thing as the amp, and cover it with numerous layers of the plastdip paint.
after that its pretty much self explanatory.
