So about 4 years ago when I had my f-150 all decked out (sold that to get the cobra) I had a nice sound system in it since I installed car audio for a year and a half at that time. Well it had been sitting in my garage cupboard the whole time and I finally decided that I wanted to add some nice bass to the stock sound system. Spent 2 hours the other day and put everything in!
It is a little overkill because the subs are so damn powerful...so I only have the gain up 1/3 the way haha. The added bass sounds sooo good now though and is perfectly crisp and clear...brought in that needed element to make the whole system sound great.
Only things I have left to do are finish making some custom grille covers for the subs, and I'm also building some niceee custom fiberglass enclosures for the subs to give me a bunch of room back in the trunk.
Rockford p8002 amplifier
2x 12" Rockford P3 subs
Rockford 1.5 Farad capacitor
All 4 gauge wiring
