I gotta say, I am impressed to this point. I know it's not the best solution in the world, but it seems to work pretty well. I got the MAP clamp used from a member here for $15 and I had the MBC laying around since last year. Wired up the MAP clamp (which went really well thanks to Bravnik's walkthrough) and installed the MBC like this:
Line from turbo to wastegate actuator removed
New line from turbo to inlet of MBC
New line out of MBC to wastegate actuator
Line from wastegate actuator to boost control solenoid removed and ends capped off.
MAP clamp set to limit boost signal to around 2-3psi
Logged last night and I was getting right around 15psi with good AFRs and fuel pressures. Going to leave it at stock boost levels until I get the upgraded fuel pump internals and BOV, and the new plugs installed.
So, not a bad solution to those of you who want to get rid of boost cut. A boost gauge and something to monitor/log fuel pressure and AFR is highly recommended. Much cheaper alternative to the AP or SB, although obviously with much less control.
