Installed Headlight LED DRLs

I'm sure most if not all the 60 SMD units are made by the same manufacturer with the same low standards of quality. Seeing all of them are the same exact units from semi-reputable (non-VLED) vendors, Amazon/ebay sellers, etc.

I ordered on Amazon and filed for a return/exchange. The seller is willing to give a replacement. According to reviews of the 60 SMD P13W units, many have fried within weeks.

BTW, those DRL on that specific Euro bumper is available in Europe as an OEM accessory (not cheap mind you). Their bumpers have dedicated holes/mounts for said DRL. The quality and aesthetics do match the price I must say. They actually have lenses on each LED to project the light wider. I hate those parts store LED tapes that make it obvious they are an after thought done by the consumer.
Yeah, I put some $20 Autozone ones on my Speed6, just below the fog lights bc I was bored & wanted to add a cheap mod. Indeed it made my car look cheap & rice. Took them off after -6 months, now one of them is lighting up my trunk, better use for it.

Those OEM LED DRLs look awesome, but I'm sure I wouldn't want to pay more than $200 for them.

Those drls are very nicely done but I hope they look better than the one pictured. Magnify it within the auction and you will see many imperfections.

I finally got a chance to put the new LEDs in. They look great, went in in about 2 minutes. Very happy!

Anyone install these on a 14 tech package?
I just tried to put these in and it appears the bulb will not fit in the opening
I have seen many posts that says this should be simple so I am wondering if they shrunk the opening in the 2014?

Never mind with minimal force it went in
I was not expecting it to rub at all on the sides

Hi all,

I'm interested in purchasing this Super Bright 68-SMD P13W/9005 LED Daytime Running Light Kit (http://store.ijdmtoy.com/Mazda-CX-5-LED-Daytime-Running-Light-Kit-p/mazda-cx-5-drl.htm) that everyone loves for my new CX-5. I have a GT w tech package, but I'm unsure as to whether I should be getting the Xenon HID Headlamp or the Halogen Headlamp? If someone could explain the difference to me it would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to getting rid of the yellow.

You want the Xenon one. The Halogen one comes with an extra part to regulate the voltage which you do not need.

Thank you, sir! Has anyone had any major issues with their durability? I've read some reviews that some have burnt out within a few weeks. Anyone have any feedback on this?

i dont have this one they have listed as the cx5 one, i have the one listed as the camaro fog light p13w which has fewer but larger/brighter leds in it, and the pics they show in the page for the cx5, it has those same ones in it as i do, so dont trust the jdm page, look for the camaro fog light p13w bulbs, they're better
