I kinda like how it looks. There is a small gap if you look at it level, but not much. Plus, it actually holds down the grille better without the buzzing noise. Let me know what you think. Also threw in a couple of the whole car, and the engine bay. ;)

damn, i miss my car!!!!!!! looks good bro...looks like you learned from a kick ass guy how to keep your car/engine bay super clean. ;)

Pretty much for looks I guess. Having the dg grille, it leaves a gap there. So this plate kinda covers it up. Apex says it also keeps the incoming air directed downward, whatever that means.

Air is lazy, if there is a gap bigger than the gap between the fins on the radiator it is going to go through there. If it is made and sealed tight, it will divert air to the radiator.

That is the theory on a race car, on a street car I would imagine it is mostly for show.

shouldnt it cover the top of the radiator then, to ensure all air is flowing to the fins? i mean, i understand the purpose of a plate like this, but fail to understand how this one works

But that's where I put bolts when I'm doing stuff on the car.... :(

Nah, I'd totally take one, but don't they want 85 bucks for it. Yikes.

Sale... $59

Basically just wipe it down every time I wash, using the same towel I use to dry the car, so it's damped. Jeff taught me everything I know. ;)

Yeah, that would make more sense and funtionality. You can have brackets made that pull the top of the rad tighter to the support.

someone could make one of those that looks better and cleaner than that for cheaper
