Hey guys. How long is the dealer going to charge me for putting on a Mazdaspeed CAI on a 2007 Mazda 3 2.3 sedan? I'm talking time wise, 2 hours max? Thanks in advance!
My dealership quoted me at $250 for install on my Speed3...Whilst that it quite the load of pony s***, and I'm doing it myself, I would think that would lead to $100 bucks an hour for labor, and thus 2.5 hours. I would think the same would apply to the regular 3.
I installed mine today and it was probably less than 2 hours of total labor. You figure the dealer has someone who has done it and has all of the tools and lift ready. So I'd say an hour would be sufficient. It is a pretty easy self installation. The only part that took any real time was finding the attachment points for the air deflector.
