Started a week ago. Out driving suddenly around 3-4000rpm spiking sound. The exact same sound when you have to much boost...
So i freaked out, started investigating. Started thinking its something wrong with the engine. It s a complete rebuilt engine big turbo forged internals, the works. So i didnt want to break something. Tore the engine apart, nothing wrong...
Put everything back together, same noise...
Thought maybe it was a front driveshaft, tored that apart today, nothing wrong.
Does anyone have any really good idea?
Im really running out of ideas, turbo gearbox what...
Im actually thinking of puting it in the dyno just to be able to listen outside the car when its running so its easier to locate the sound.
I hear the sound around 3-4000rpm, and then a bit here and there over the higher rpms... But when i drive like normal people drive there cars, theres no sound.
Ive also tried to lower the boost (CP-E standback) just going on the wg spring rate. Exactly the same noise.
Dont know what to do anymore, sounds really bad...
