Ok, I'm new here...so be gentle. (peep)

I'm considering the purchase of an 02 Miata Special Edition. 33K miles. I've only had one Mazda experience before and it was many years ago...car didn't last long in our family, so it wasn't a good experience.

Anyone on here care to tell me the good, the bad and the ugly about the Mazda Miata's (leaving out it's reputation for being a chick car)?

It's either going to be the Special Edition Miata or a BMW z3. Very different cars, but someone...please...sell me on the Miata.

I'd go for it, the MS miata, even the New One. I personally have no experience but it doesnt take much make it more masculine i guess.
