Whats up everyone, im looking to invest into an Injen CAI. Now i got a deal from a friend of mine for $275, and thats about the same price on most sites iv checked. Only thing is im not sure if i defanitly need the bypass valve or splash guard. Are they nessisary?
$275 = ripoff! most sell at or around $200-$225. no need for bypass or splash guard if you live in an area where it doesn't flood to levels above your foglights. do a search on injen CAI and you'll see plenty of info on this.
like what they said above, no need to worry if your area doesnt flood, if it does still dont need it, well you do, but just dont rev above 3g if going over water. dont want that water sucking into the engine
thanx for the feedback everyone, i havnt purchased it yet, i was just looking for a pricing range for one of those bad boys, any sites or anyone know any locations were i can get a brand new one???????????
protegegarage has them for $235 shipped. im thinking about getting this intake cause it's the only company that actually has dyno proof and you can see what rpms you will get gains in. anywhere cheaper than that. on ebay it's $256 shipped. how do you get it in black at protegegarage.com
thanks for the feedback. im only interested in buying new parts. i brought a mazda mp3 strut bar for $35 and ended up paying another $40 for brackets and nutz. so im all on buying new now from certain vendors. thanks though.
This is the CHEAPEST i could find the Injen CAI in black for. Everyone else wanted $264 shipped for it. Protegegarage.com was definitly one of the cheapest for the polished one though. I think I'll be getting a black CAI real soon..... Just thought I'd save everyone looking for the black one some time. Enjoy.
