I drive a caution cone
what size is our stock injectors??? 440cc???

Also what injectors from other cars would fit our car?

damn how is a 300cc injector support a factory turbo ride?? even mitsubishis used 450cc on their eclipse.

I guess thats the first thing to upgrade when raising boost.

they are ok for the stock 170 HP motor. above that i would go with 440's. on stock internals you wont need anymore fuel

they even used 510's on some of the gvr4's in japan. i think it has something to do with mitsubishi knowing a thing or 2 about turbos and how to give a car potential.

thanks for the info.. id been wondering about this... now if i can just find out the .ar size and wheel on the turbo... id be happy. :)

acctually the 3000gt, stealth and GTO in japan, always got the 360cc injector stock.....

They are high impedance 280 CC injectors in the MSP, they will hit 80% duty cycle on stock boost, right around 5500 RPMS, and level off there.

I monitored them with my HKS CAMP system for 3 months, and this is the data I got from them. The size is directly from the MSP service book. :D that Chojin informed me of.

so is there any information on duty cycles with increased boost?
isnt 80% pretty much maxed out?

they have been flow tested many times. They are 302cc at 36 psi.
not 280

i believe they are peak and hold, but i'm not 100% positive, probably 75%, but they are small. my brother's friend has a 99 vr4 and wants to buy my 450's out of my dsm, even though he's still gonna have to find 2 more

yeah all the injectors for mitsu back in the day were low impedance. they are really being phased out now.

i was thinking of buying a set of 1300cc ported injectors from a buddy of mine who owns an rx7. he bought a lot of them. not a bunch of them, but a set amount which sells for little cuz you buy a grip. he basically bought a lot of 8 and wanted to get rid of 6. i was thinking of buying but then i realized that they are WAY too big.
