Initial D is a very popular Japanese animation.
Basically about some guys doing illegal up-hill and down-hill racing at night, in drifting style. The lead character drives his father's AE86 to deliever Tou-Fu products to a hotel every morning and built up his driving skill unintentionally.
Then his skills along with his vintage AE86 keep beating up newer and better cars with higher horsepower (RX-7-FC, RX-7-FD, Civic-EG, Civic-EK, MR2-SW20, Skyline GT-R32, S-13, S-14, AE-85, MX-5, Celica-GT4, Evo3, Evo4). He only lost to his father who drives a Impreza WRX.
