It just done showing in Japan, not yet released on DVD yet.
If you know what is BitTorren, then you will probably be able to see them.

Initiad-D Is actually based on the real story. It's based on the Japanese driver often shown in "Best Motoring" (can't remember his name". But, he's always wearing the green/white suit and he looks kinda funny, short hair. He's own theory is that HP is not everything, it's all about the handling and the skills. Thus, he often beat people with this actual AE86 with his amazing skills.

Try got buy those Asian version from Ebay.
But remember to get those with English subtitle.
Stage 1 (complete), Stage 2 (complete), Stage 3(movie), and Extra Stage(movie) are all released.
Stage 4 is still showing on network TV in Japan.

Actually, I don't think his music is that bad I somewhat kind it. In fact, I haven't yet got sick of his songs. Nonetheless, I don't think any part of him deserve to be an actor in Initial-D, I'm sure there is osmeone that can do better than him.

In terms of Best Motoring vidoes, they're all over the internet. BUt if you want to buy the actual DVDs, I know Rishie sells them in his shop, so maybe you can call him and ask about it. If not, try www.yesasia.com (there is English version site) and I believe they sell it there too.

That's a major problem in Asia (especially Hong Kong), they put young newbie idols instead of some experienced actors who can act into the main characters of the great movies.
