info on fs-ze swap please

I highly doubt that I've seen dyno's from those they're much higher. Pull the valve cover and take a pic of the model number stamped on the cams

I've been on the same Dyno Dynamics dyno for the past 4 years (see post on the 4th page), so its not a matter of changing dyno's for me...

What part numbers am I suppose to be looking at??

Did u keep the fs ze crank pulley on or had to swap the fs de one into the fs ze motor ?

You are full time 4wd in 124 whp?

There will be numbers cast onto the cams the real fsze had different numbers than the jspec fsde mistakingly referred to as the fsze without the special intake mani. They were in the msf and some of the sp20's (awd ones iirc)

If you're wondering why I know do much about these I get bored alot lol

so the special intake cam number is the fsh9 correct and exhaust fs9?

FSH9-12-420 number for intake FS-ZE cam. this is difference in timings and lift is 8,7mm

Fs-ze has fsh9 intake cam and fd7 or something exhaust cam stock. The Msf fs-ze has fsh9 intake and fs9 exhaust cam.

The normal fs-ze cams are the same ones the jspec fs-de has stock.

Please note that it's possible for the fs-ze to also have fs1e cams but he likely hood is alot lot smaller as it as only used in one model for a short amount of time.

Btw Rico simple fix is just to use wire it up and then use an aftermarket ECU, you'll gain power and wont have to worry about engine knock etc etc.

Yeah So motor and stand alone ecu is the less headache option ever and secure

626 Mani has no Vic's or Vtcs. Fsze has a special Vic's system and is probly a 10 hp gain by its self

Going back to the Dyno question, what were you on for your run tweety?

Found an article that basically said that they're was a 12% difference between dynos done on a Dyno Dynamics & Dyno Jet, so if I were to go off the 12% I would have 140fwhp if run on a Dyno Jet.. Which is pretty much on par seeing im not using the ZE ECU (redline cutoff is still 6500rpm)

^ thats what I was getting to when I made my what type of dyno comment .
