info on fs-ze swap please

FS-ZE from japan market dont have 170 hp on the wheels. This is dyno for my friend P5 with FS-ZE engine with CAI, Corksport ex cam.

Power H/p flywheel MAX = 172
Torque N.m. flywheel MAX = 193
RPM flywheel crankshaft MAX = 7000

H/p MAX = 151
Torque MAX = 187
RPM MAX = 7000

I have FS-ZE very low mile engine in my P5 turbo. If FS-ZE from mazda familia sport 20 you swap it with little problems. You need install on FS-ZE P5 exhaust mani. Intake mani dont have VTCS in FS-ZE, you need just leave solenoid connected to harness and check engine dont light. You need reinstall you knock sensor from P5 is the different.
If you have FS-ZE from Mazda Capella always with auto tranny you have more problems. Crank pulley, housing for temp sensor, termostat body, heater tube, throttle body, crank pulley, average pan are the different. You dont need FS-ZE ECU, it made mitsubishi in plastic black house, have obd 1 and different harness connector.

And well if I don't need the fs ze to get all if the motors power what ecu I need ? Can you elaborate on that ?

How do I know if it's a fs ze from sport 20 or the Capella?

In Familia engine intake, exhaust manifold and fuel rail are different, all the rest are same.

You use stock P5 ECU, for example i use mazdaspeed ECU!
Capella FS-ZE have termostat body expanded to the other side, pulley with 4 lug, different TPS on the throttle body.

They have that one listed as a fs de.

Also yes I guess I can use stick p5 harness and ecu but would be pointless. Won't get all the power out of the motor without running the fs ze actual ecu

If engine have big black plastic box in intake mani this is FS-ZE. I forget sport 20 FS-ZE have plastic cover and anower walve cover, like Mazdaspeed

This is FS-ZE with stock P5 intake and exhaust mani on 2002 Moscow p5

interesting. everyone keeps saying without the fs-ze ecu its pointless to get the swap because it would be no different than the power the fs de makes now lol
 
Why would you use a high compression motor for a turbo build?

I can't believe it only made 150 whp guess that's why I decided not to go with it

As for ecu use the mp3 ecu as it already advances the timing. If you really wana get crazy get a wide band,j&s safeguard , a piggy back, and adjustable cam gear. And go to town.

How much are you paying for this? I'm wondering if you would be better off doing a kl swap. Not to mention how much horrible info your getting I'm here. Since 150 whp is evil fast man

no not for turbo. I want to keep it all n/a.

that means what. the fs.de to the flywheel makes like 130? lol
 
though about kl too. the p rice for the ze swap is great tho only reason im really looking into it

I have FS-ZE engine in my car because my old engine is bad, now im forged!

This is not my dyno and not my car this is atmo P5 with FS-ZE engine. In Russia this engine cost 600$
 
well my car is over 200k already so i know eventually ill need an engine
