indiglo install

i did a search nobody had a good install of these. What wire and where is it at, that everybody is tapping into for power.

also on a side note. I BROKE MY TEMP AND FUEL GAUGE. and cut a slit into the tach and speedo and got them on but broke the other two. Anybody know where to get the gauges cluster at with out getting ass *****.

i dont think your gonna find a guage cluster anywhere without getting assraped.... and, not being a dick... but didnt you know that you have to be careful installing guages?? people break needles all the time... c'mon man...

ya, I knew I should have been more careful. But I did discover with the newer ones that are suppose to slid over you still need to cut a small slit in them. I cut the speedo and tach and it work and you cant see the cuts. also what wire did you guys tap into for power to the indiglows. and I figured i was going to get broke down shot gun style

Why oh why do people keep installing these ugly things. You must not have read the NUMEROUS posts about people breaking the same gauges that you did. I don't see why it's worth it anyway, the stock gauges look great already. To each his own, but now you will have no idea how much gas you have. (rofl)

hey thanks for the help, the reply was REALLY ******* HELPFULL. I have read the post I was trying to becareful, but wasnt careful enough. And personally I like the looks of the reverse indiglo gauges, the ones I got. And actually I will know how much gas I have cause i reset my trip every time and know how much I usually get on a tank, plus I filled up this morning just in case.

No offense, but I still think it's funny every time I read about someone else installing these gauges and in the process breaking the temp and fuel gauge.(rofl) If everyone is breaking these same gauges when installing them, why would you think you can install them without breaking them? Do you know that repetition of a sensless act is a sign of insanity.

yes i know that, and my only reply to it is I am insane, I could have told you that a long time ago. Aslong as you learn from your mistakes and not repeat them your ok. These one were SUPPOSE to be different but they are not. I figured I would give it a try. Actully I'm going to return them I didn't notice last night in my excitement, but they are used. They already have a scrape mark from the needles draggin on it all around them. So **** procar parts. We can still be friends right Big_Ben.

I have a mean sense of humor. I guess I got it from the army. All of us would relentlessly pick on each other because there was nothing better to do when you are on a 7 month tour in Kosovo. I guess I have that "kick you in the balls" sense of humor. (rofl)

If your still looking for a cluster, there's someone trying to sell one for $50. I learned my lesson the hard way, twice! My current indiglos are perfect. I have a drill bit that cuts the holes a bit bigger and symetric. The faces fit over the needles. I'm now waiting for the standard reverse in the mail. These aftermarket companies can suck at times. Will post pics.......

They wouldn't let us leave the camp. Especially after a car bomb was detonated by the american embassy. The three guys that were captured were from the camp I was in. But when we got there, the CID had just busted a prostitution ring that was operating on the camp. So we didn't get s*** for seven months. Then we flew into Frankford, GE on the way home and all that changed. (If you know what I mean)

LMAO i hear ya. B/c i'm albanian and that summer after the war i went to Kosovo to vist relatives and man i had to beat the girl off with a stick. there were throwing themselves at you. it was really sad. but i had fun if you know what i mean

You are Albanian? That's cool. I've only met one other Albanian since I've been there. The guy owns a Pizza restaurant here in Arlington. The cool thing is when I told him that I've been there, he was like wow. He asked why I was there and I told him. He said that he lost many relative that lived in Serbia and Kosovo. I remember seeing fields ful of white stakes that the UN workers had put there. And every stake was a body. I remember seeing photos of fields with white stakes as for as you could see. It's really sad that the US took that long to do anything about it. That is a very bad place. People that think the racisim in the US is bad should take a trip to the Balkans. It would make a lynching or a hate crime in the US look like a peace rally. People over there harbor lots of hate for each other. It's a beautiful country besides that. There was a place down town that we used to sneak out to. I think it was called Cafe' Blue. Lots of hot girls there. I think I only saw one fat girl while I was there. But the girls are only pretty while they are young. They work very hard and it ages them badly. A 30 year old woman looks like she's 45 or 50.

yeah i hear you. the reason why every one is not fat is b/c NOT Buger King or Micky D's. and yes that is said what happened to all the people. know a lot of people that lost their lives. Most people were killed after the US started to bomb b/c the world was against what the US was doing and the US didn't put forces on the ground. oh well. and yeah if you want to see some nice places you can go to Macedonia which shares a boarder with Kosovo. Very nice places. Nice beaches. alot of the land is untouched. I go over there alomst every summer to vist my family there. it's nice
