my greddy gauge has been acting retarded latly.. it spikes to 1 bar when im not boosting... the needle vibrates like crazy, and the thing is it doesnt do that all the time. today it was perfect, yesterday it was doin that....
sorry for the thread jack !
**** man, I thought the electronic units were supposed to be super accurate.

I would take it back and get a new one if you are sure that ther is nothing else causing the irregular readings.

so did you tell the profec2 to only boost 6psi? or did the car just only make 6psi?

Yeah, I set the low setting to 6psi and high to 12psi. Now that the Greddy actuator is in line even if I turn off the EBC it boosts the stock .45bar.

I'm not sure how you have yours setup but if you installed it how Greddy said to install it, through the vacuum line between the fuel pressure regulator, I would undo that and put the Greddy pressure sensor on it's own vacuum.

Wastegate is stuck or the actuator is toast. I just had my whole turbo system replaced under warranty because of a stuck wastgate...

yeah that black Greddy sensor has its own vaccuum line just before the MBC.
at first i thought its one of the wires thats about to disconect, so i un/reconected everything, it wnet away for a few days now its back:(

I can take pics of how I set mine up if you want. It's all alone on it's own vacuum source right above where the wastegate hose goes to the manifold. You may want to try another ground for the gauges as well.

Ok, let me rephrase. Reliable = Consistent Operation. ;)

for something three times the cost of a normal analogue unit, it seems to be not doing what it's supposed to do, IMO.
