IF you end up keeping the hood. I know a couple people that had too, but get a dremel and round down the edges. In any event good luck getting a new one!

why would customs TOUCH something shipped FROM the US to the US?!

and if it WAS sent thru US CUSTOMS and actually INSPECTED (not all are inspected) it would have GREEN customs tape. i didnt see any of that.

It was from Canada to the Us, And due to the condition of the box, NO DOUGHT It happened in shipping, or the box would be fine and the part ******. also the fact they just left it on your door step displays the quality of work they exersised while delivering it. I definatly think it was FED Ex, and they got disclaimers and 100$ limits for this verry thing, It will be a pain, but bitching to a supervisor cant hurt!

The box was packaged by the seller because I was going to buy that hood and he told me he couln't take anymore pics of something specific I asked for because it was packed and waiting to be shipped.

MTK from what I understand hoods are only shipped by ground.

Hoods can be shipped either way. Just depends on how much you want to pay? Ground is going to be like 35 to 50, or even more, dollars cheaper for something like that. Just a question for ya...did he have a fedex uniform on? Was it green? If he was in a uniform then he probably was on a tight schedule. I would be able to give you a lot more advice if I knew wheather it was ground or air. Pm me if you want

Well fedex picked it up last monday (nov 1st). I still haven't heard one word from them. I'll be calling them this afternoon if I get time (busy as s***). Needless to say, their claims department leaves a little be be desired.
