The places everyone mentioned are all good. Whereabouts in San Diego, exactly, will you be staying. I kinda grew up in that area and know a few good restaurants and such. If you feel up for a bit of a drive, you can come up my way and my wife and I will show ya a good time in the Inland Empire

You MIGHT wanna consider going into Tijuana. Could be fun down there, but I'm not sure I would recommend you going by yourself.

to get to tiajuana...best way is to take the blue line trolley to the border and then walk across...legoland is up in carlsbad...about 45mins-1 hour from downtown (its okay...more geared towards the 9-10 year old kids). heres the info for the only parasailing place i've found around town:

Check out http://www.sandiegovisitorinfo.com/ There is a lot of the info you are looking for there. Here's a listing that has a couple motorcycle rental places for street bikes like Harley's http://harleys.com/cgi-bin/listings/mdb/filter.pl?selregion=usa If you are looking to rent an off-road bike, there was a good link on the first website I listed under Adventure Tours for that. Legoland is in Carlsbad and you basically venture up along the coast about 35 miles North from San Diego. Here's a site for hangliding/parasailing http://www.flytorrey.com/web/main/default.asp They are located in La Jolla, which is about 15 miles to the North of San Diego, aslo along the coast. To get to Tijuana, you would venture south on the 5 freeway about 15-20 miles.

well we can always have dinner at Universal Citywalk. Great area. If you would be willing to meet at our place in Irvine... which is on the way to Universal.. I could drive the rest of the way

Irvine is abuot 45 miles north of San Diego. Universal is about an additional 50.

just remember 3 phrases in spanish for when you get to tiajuana...

1. donde esta el bano?
2. un mas cervesa por favor
3. (most important if you get lost) donde esta los estados unidos?

also...keep at least $50 with you as bribe money for the cops in case you get in trouble...most will ask you for the bribe...just dont ask them if they take bribes and you'll be fine.

oh...also if you want...we can carpool up to the dinner up north where ever it will be held. i'd be more than happy to drive
