illegal tint wtf

Equipment isn't speeding, they need to give you a chance to fix it. Even if you need to pay one, the judge will most likely rip the other one up.

Happened to me too with my illegal plate frame, got pulled over twice in the same night. I plead guilty to one, and told the judge I got 2 tickets in the same night for the same equipment.

He dismissed one of them, as I didn't even have a chance to correct the issue before getting another ticket.

nope still waiting on a reply from the state on the first citation. Always towards the end of the month cops pull over anyone but this is the first year out of four years that ive ever been pulled over. What upsets me the most is that there was no reason to pull me over in the first place. Cuz I wasn't speeding or driving funny kind. Yup this sucks!

Hmm i wonder whats going to happen when i send in another letter just a week and a half later for the same thing "tint". atleast this time i actually fixed it. Now what to say about the damn recon ticket.....

well i heard back in like the late 80's or 90's or something, many teens were modding their cars and getting killed in huge accidents. so the recon laws were put into place. dunno i probably wasnt even alive around that time? heh..or maybe i was a baby?

i think it is mostly an oahu thing

or at least that is the only island that they actually enforce it, i think it is in effect for all the islands but other islands cops dont really give a crap about it, recently though they were supposed to be cracking down on illegal tint, too loud exhaust and lifted trucks for tires and HID's

cops here in hawaii give a hard time sometimes...like on my street, theres this black guy in a white camaro who tags people who are just 1 mph above the speed limit...haha when i pass him, i go at 24mph xP

Yup fkn A. I hope the second one gets dismissed also along with the stupid recon ticket. Straight legal tint sucks. And so does recon I would think bigger rims with better tires would actually be safer. As for tint its not like u couldn't see in the car well now u can and everyone can see my goodies.
