Ignition wire location

I am installing a set of LEDs in the front grill and need an ignition wire. I used a fuse tap and the dealer told me that some of the circuits are voltage sensing circuits and that it might hurt certain circuits. Anyone have any ideas or suggestions. Thanks.

There are both switched and constant 12V wires inside the kick panel near the left foot rest.
To find out which, find the "Autodimming/HomeLink mirror installation" instructions on other threads.
(HomeLink needs constant 12V, Autodimming needs switched 12V)

However, please do a simple computation on how much current the LED lights draw.
Watts (W) = 12V * A (current).
e.g. 25W = 12V * 2.5A => 2.5Amper.
I won't go beyond 3A if I were you.
Proceed at your own risk, however.
Worst case: blown fuse.
