If you could buy your car over again.... would you?

I would probably go back and consider the WRX more. FWD, like someone said earlier, is really ******* annoying. RWD is much more fun, and a lot less anoying (understeer = suck). The WRX is a fair amount faster than a stock MSP (227 hp vs. 170hp), and it handles pretty well. A few of my friends have em, and they are nice. I'd go back and test drive it, but I don't know if I'd get it. The car seems like it came off of an assembly line, unlike the msp which is unique, although some parts seem to have come off of the retarded assembly line (ecu). All in all the msp is more unique, the wrx is faster. I dunno what I would pick, but I'd consider the wrx more if i could do it again.

Hey I bought mine with 11 miles on it for 16500. It's not my fault you have no sense what so ever when you purchased your USED car. All I'm saying is that an 86 Prelude will NOT outhandle an MSP. Not by a long shot. It seems to me that you should know what you're talking about before opening your mouth.

Oh yeah, "Bruce Lee wannabe"

You know nothing about me buddy, and keep up the maturity! :D

Dude what are you 16 years old?

Easy there tiger. I'm not jumping on any wagon at all. I'm just stating the FACT that a MSP will smoke an '86 prelude in the corners.
Hell, I can keep up with my buddy's Prelude SH in the twisties and I drive a station wagon. Preludes are heavy.

Wow the maturity levels at this board have dropped to an all time low. So basically you're saying that your lude will smoke an MSP in the corners basically because it's YOUR LUDE? Please.

Okay how about this my civic is better than an S2000 in the corners because it's MINE. Jeez...grow up already.

i was on the track yesterday (buttonwillow)

1. three cars on the skid-pad: WRX, MSP, Boxter.
the one that had least body roll was MSP.

2. on the track, 80-90 mph high speed turn, boxter infront of me, i passed him on the inside cause he started slipping outward.

when instructor drove my car, he couldnt believe that it was stock, he thought i was messing with him.

I dont even have a speed yet but right now I have a WRX and am tryin to sell it because its kicking my ass in insurance. I called to see how much a speed was and its gonna be 870 cheaper so ..
The WRX def has more tuning potential than a MSP and is faster but its all about what you like and can afford.

P.S. For Sale:2003 WRB WRX 7500 miles, OEM body kit, spoiler, rockford speakers with pioneer HU, SPT/Eibach springs, Avital 2200 alarm, car is garaged and there is not a mark on it. so if interested email, pm or im me
Thanks Brian

Hot damn.

The MSP holds Sport Compact Car's all-time front wheel drive slalom record. No other stock front driver they've ever driven can beat it.

I would but it again, but i wouln't have jumped on "the last orange one available anywhere" BS the dealer fed me. I had nothing to bargain with.
Had I waited, I could have paid far less.

I have to admit, I'm kinda tentative about picking one up now having read some of the problems that you guys are having. I test drove one and ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT, the little gobble was a bit....different, but aside from that it felt great, the power band was nice and meaty also.

I can get one for about 16.5 after rebates (it will actually be a little less since my Si trade is valued moe than I owe on it) but I'm on the fence because of these problems.....(dunno)
