I was hit bya truck

Like the title says, I was waiting to make a turn when this truck (not like an SUV, a real truck) decided to make the same turn on my left side, apparentely he didn't see me and when he was making the turn he hit me on the drivers side with this HUGE spare tire that they carry underneath the trailer, I don't know if that made any sense.
Anyway the fact is that both of my driver's side doors are ruined and it also damaged the begining of the rear panel (where the gas cap is, right where it meets the rear door), dunno if they need to be replaced or if they can fix them somehow, but I'm so pissed :mad: .....I hate trucks .

I'm fine, thanks for asking, he was goind very slow so it wasn't a big impact, but considering the size of that truck I think it could've been much worse, thankfuly he hit me with the spare tire and not with the trailer itself.

You mean it was a 18-wheeler? Or just a truck towing a trailer?
If it was a 18-wheeler, did they try to place blame on you at all for being on the inside of it?
Always wondered if they would being they have signs saying makes wide right turns and such.

That sucks though Least you didn't get hit by one of the tires.

Yes it was an 18 wheeler REM , that's why I'm so thankful that it only damaged the doors, when I was getting out of the car to check it out (I had to move over to the passenger seat and use that door because there was a friggin truck blocking mine mind you) I thought it had been MUCH worse, the bottom of the trailer was about 2" from hitting my roof line and that would've been really ugly.

The guy took off and I think it's better this way because they would've tried to blame it on me otherwise.

Damn that sucks he took off, but ya probably is better this way. Cause now regardless he can be blame plus hit N' Run. Anyway get a ID on the trailer like the ID number on it or brand name?
