I think the Genesis kicks our ass.

if the genesis isnt your cup'o'tea wait until the hyundai coupe comes out...that might be a bit more fun. pretty decent looking too

here's my take on things....

comparisons are good, that's the whole reason why the genesis (coupe) is coming out anyway.cuz obviously hyundai needed a car to compete with, let's say, the g8, bmw 3 (or now even 1) series, mustang, or any other front engine rwd car for under $30-35k.

this edition to hyundai's fleet should help them up their ante with the rest of the manufacturers. and i dont' know about you all, but i think hyundai has been coming around these past few years with their quality and design of vehicles. and they're quickly making their way into being a big player in todays market. i mean, come on, they have one of the best warranties out there and offer some of the cheapest vehicles. and honestly, i don't think they look that bad either (some models).

I got ya. But why do we keep seeing threads about other cars in comparison? No one's happy with the MS3 performance, we got to compare to other cars all the time and find something better?

I'm just messing with you it's just that MS007 guy got booted from the forums and all that fool ever did was post thread after thread after thread with links to comparison articles. As if he wasn't satisfied with his car he always brought up comparisons. I'm not saying that's what your doing. But I just didnt think this car was anywhere near as comparable to the MS3 to begin with.

Don't take any offense please, I'm a very oppinionated person and always have been.

I am mainly speaking about the engine's hp to mpg ratios that stood out at me here when I say they kicked out ass. And yes I am a little unhappy with the mpg I get with my speed3. People are saying it's all in the gearing but that doesn't explain how their city mpg is still so good as well as their highway mpg and again this is an 800lb heavier car with much more power and torque than us. Overall the genesis is not my style it's a large lux sedan when I am happier in a sportcompact sedan/hatchback but with mileage like they are getting it makes me wonder why I shouldn't be rolling in a big old lux sedan then.
