i-stop problems

buna
I look forward to your response!

i'll save everyone the translate time.. from google
I came up with a problem I can't solve!
In the last two months, my car a Mazda CX5 2.2 diesel 175 hp from 2015 I have problems at i-stop
So I start the engine and everything is working normally, but a few days after a period of over 30 minutes of operation or maybe more i-stop systems are disabled
When the consumption of cars can reach up to 13% and with it the engine is very hot, so you can barely hold your hand above the headlights on the outside
It works like this for about 20-30 minutes and then everything goes back to normal.
MAZDA people say they find no errors at this time when checking with the tester
So if anyone could encounter this problem or have any idea about this, please give me a massage please
I look forward to your response!

Doesn't help. I don't know that much about diesels. Or i- stop. How are the headlights involved? I do know a little about LEDs.

Thank you for your attention!

Pretty sure your car is doing a DPF regen which is normal for the diesel. In my case, it occurs every 200km for about 10-15 mins to burn off the soot.

Signs are the higher engine temp, higher fuel consumption, foul-smelling exhaust, and i-stop indicator is unlit even if you didn't switch it off.

Just a word of warning, don't turn off your engine while the regen hasn't finished, that's what causes oil dilution. You'll know it's done when the i-stop indicator is lit.

Hello
Thank you very much for your reply!

If the concern is the amount of heat (how high the temperature is) you would need to compare to a similar vehicle to see if it is out of spec. Take a reading with an instrument - something similar to:
https://www.amazon.com (commissions earned)
Vehicles are designed for a wide range of operating temperatures and without real data no one can tell you if this is abnormal.

Hello
I read your post and I think it is good to do the regeneration every 200 km. The problem is that when this happens, the engine temperature rises very high.
It gets so hot that you can barely hold your hand on the hood or the front of the car.
Thank you very much for your reply!

I think it's normal that engine temps are much higher. It has to burn off the soot accumulated inside the DPF or else it will clog. If it's not showing any codes, I don't see any problem. Will check my unit if it gets too hot to touch during regen cycle.

Thank you very much for your help! If it is not too much, please check whether by the end of the 15-20 minutes of regeneration the front part of the vehicle (bonnet and the side parts from headlights to the cab) is very hot or not.
Thank you very much!

Vehicle just did another DPF regen yesterday for the usual 15 minute drive. Bonnet and headlights were indeed hot to the touch.

I will continue to pay attention to the behavior of the vehicle, maybe the same thing will happen to me. Those in the Mazda garage should have known and explained this behavior. Thank you very much!
