I smell BOOST.....

That's what I was thinking. You're car is probably running rich as hell! I don't have the part number handy but I got a Dynomax bung from a local parts store. It's just a standard 18mm 1.5thd bung. I'd bet that would take care of a big part of your problem. (thumb)

Yea, and check all your hose clamps, that might cause a problem if its getting some leaking it trows the vaccum for a loop.

also, you might want to do the o2 sensor move, to have it go around the back of the block instead of hanging in front of all that hot stuff. just splice in longer wires so it will have enough length for the redirection.

how many psi are you running?

He doesn't have the rear o2 sensor connected. Without the number 2 sensor hooked up the ecu isn't going to know how rich/lean the car is running.

I don't know that the second sensor would cause that problem. My understanding (I'm not the expert) is that the first sensor is used to set the A/F and the second is to measure cat efficiency (OBDII crap). There are a number of people running without the second O2, or with a cheater, or with it just hanging in space. Now if the first one is the one that isn't installed. . .then I could see it causing the problem. . .So which one you got in there? The black connector is the primary, the grey is the secondary.

Only thing it changed is now my A/F meter works. Soon as I push in the clutch, the car dies.

hey did you get the voltage clamp already?...i was having some problems with the car just turning off without it, although at times it wants to stall, but i think its caused by the bov...

If the voltage clamp is the O2 modifier, then yes I have it on. I was confused with spools instructions for it, so I used FM's website and followed their instructions. I have the blue wire going to the ECU, and the yellow wire going to the O2 sensor.

i think you have the wires backwards, i just installed mine and the blue goes away from the ecu and the yellow goes to the ecu ill check to make sure but i think im right. i havent had mine on the road yet because im waiting on the 90 dagree pieces still, sucks to be me i guess. how did your lower intercooler pipe fit mine seems to short and dosnt clear the down pipe so i dont know whats up with that hopefully terry will call me back about that. how does it feel with the turbo on it?

yup thats how mine is hooked up yellow to ecu and blue to o2 sensor try that. that might fix the stalling and the black smoke and so on

Very interested into seeing wht the problem is....

Also....your setup is looking very, very well done!

Just though of something...

You said it was running way rich? All the time? Or just after you shift? Venting Metered air to atmosphere could lead to a very rich condition...try routing your BOV back into the air system?

Let me get on the bandwagon I to I'm having the problem of the car running to rich and when you rev it up and let of on the throttle the car want to stall .
I'll be giving Terry a call today.

That does not sound like it......Henry you probably are having vacum leak issues or your BOV is leaking. Terry also told me that you are running no 2nd 02 sensor. That will definetly cause idle problems

Well I was going to get that second O2 sensor welded today but you probably hear in New York we have a power outtage so I guess I'll have to wait til tomorrow and I'll let you know how it's running.

Thanks Chris

Well install the second O2 sensor and the check engine light went out and the car is running a little better but it still wants to stall went you engage the clutch I can hear a leak from the BOV but how do you tighten it, Its a Greddy BOV .
The car boost guage is reading 23 vac but when rev up it doesn't go over 0 lb of boost could it be due to the leakin the BOV.
