Upgraded the entire home theatre and speaker system over the holiday season. Flat screen LCD LED TV, Onkyo receiver with 9.1 surround sound speakers, Blu-Ray, PS3 and more. All new toys to play with.

If you think keeping up with the forums here on Mazda 24/7 was tough, you should check out the AV techies and audiophile experts "in their own minds" on these boards. And wow, the old timers can get nasty with the newbies. Everyone knows more than everyone else...it's amazing...there are postings almost every minute of the day over there.

So, if you see my participation here a bit light, you can find me over on the AVS Forum boards or the PolkAudio message boards. Anything goes at these OK Corrals!(dark)

Yeah everyone is a sound engineer at AVS...

I spent months at avs forum, reading hours each night, researching and learning about everything I could before purchasing my home theater equipment.

Once everything was bought and installed and working, I had no desire to go back. :)

I will return when it is time to upgrade a component.

Love the DIY home theater construction threads.

I find it fascinating that everyone is an expert and rarely do they agree on much. I'm embarssed to even mention the Bose in my car, as they are considered a marketing gimic company!

Flat screen LCD LED TV...? Blu-Ray? What the heck? You are typing words that don't exist! I still have my lightweight 200 pound Sony Trinitron cathode ray tube hooked up to a RCA VCR via a cable wire, and as far as I know, it's the best picture out there. I'm sure the whole thing run on magnets.
