I should have gotten a Orange msp

speed.jpg

Almost bought Titanium but decided against it after my wife reminded me of how many Silver/Grey cars are on the road right now. Haven't seen any other Yellow MSP's around town yet.

I would have liked the blue or titanium, but the dealer didn't have them in stock when I got mine in black. Oh well. The black looks decent (or it will when I wash away the road salt). I like the 03.5 wing better, but front end of the 03.

I love my Spicy Orange!! People always asking if it is a custom color. I had a 99 Dakota R/T, and it was black, very tough to keep clean, I will never own a black car again. Hey Mr Diggler, where did you buy your speed, where you bout to buy one in Kansas?

Wes
Thats it! All this ANTI-BLACK stuff has got me in a tizzy I'm callin Johnny Cochren and the Spicy Orange anti Defamation League.

No bling but it is Black. In the sunlight the flake comes out really well.
Of course after 30k miles those tires are looking as bald as APOC's head (nuts)

Boy I'm slow today..... I don't see orange atall (uhm)

The surface looks like an orange peel. But I am sure you already knew that.

I dont know, I wouldnt say that the people with the black mica are older, I am 21 and from what I have seen for the most part everyone with the black mica is younger.

I think there is just a touch of metalic flake in the black mica

I took a pic like that... and had to delete it and retake when i was a bit cleaner. It was waaaay to obvious id just washed it. Shirtless, hair messed up, and you could almost see the wrinkless in my fingers.

BLACK RULES!!!

Hahhaha, I've taken that type of pic before for the mirror effect but this was actually just to show the flakes.

I love my Yellow - just about glows when you get it out in sunlight (damn why won't it stop raining here?) and I never lose it in a parking lot :D

Other than Yellow I was really into the Titanium. It was a close pick between the two.

Thanks for such kind words Yash :D

Mspfrk,

What orange?! Where? I don't see it.... You playin a trick on me??? :D
No, I mean "orange-peel". When paint isn't applied correctly, it takes on the look of the outside of an orange...lightly pock-marked. But as others have said, it may just be the metal-flake in the paint making it look that way. I haven't seen a black mica in person. (dunno)

When i got my black one, i sorta despised the color but everyday i see them on the forum and now i came to love the color.

This is my first black and probably the last. After the crappy winter storm in VA, its almost impossible to keep the car clean. Oh why why didn't i get the last orange on the lot.

How is everyone liking their colors???

Black is the best color there is for a car, yes it looks like crap in the winter, but when it is clean........there is no better.
