hey guys whats up, i have a small, well sorta small prob. i have 18's, obviously with the wrong offset, and coilovers. when i hit a large bump i sometimes rub (only in rear). does anyone know what my options are to get this fixed are. i was wondering;
1. is there any way to either, fold or cut the lip form under the rear fender well.
2. take the wheels to a machine shop and hae them fix the wheels, but i dont have any idea where to start for doing that. ie.. what to ask once at the shop......
if anyone could help i would appreciate it.

roll the fender. -=) i donno how much a shop would charge.. but i have heard u can do it at home with a baseball bat if u are darin enuff. -=)

do you know what the offset is on the rims? machining down the hub works sometimes depending on how much you will need taken off. If you have a +42 you will need about 5 or 6 mm milled off. most machine shops should be able to do that, just have to break down the wheels.....around here that would be the hardest part:D

Aluminum Baseball bat. Rollin, rollin, rollin, its really not that hard.

But some shops will have equipment to professionally rolls fenders. They actually have a machine/tool made to do it.

But even rolling fenders yourself is not hard and even if its not totally straight its tucked in so nobody will notice unless they look behind the wheels fender well

I just took the tire out and banged the finder lip in with a small hammer. Perfect as can be, no more rubbing, although I say bang in a short tapping motion

well i rolled them saturday, and NO rubbing. so now im going to see if i can lower it some more. my ultimate goal is to have the top of the quarter panels sit right above the wheel. that may take some work and some $. i was able to even the stance out though. (it was barely higher in the back)
