I get my car back after the ENGINE FALLS OUT OF IT and now this morning I have a beautiful CHECK ENGINE LIGHT to gaze upon AGAIN!!!
WTF is it with this car?

Maybe I'd buy that if I was the only one having these problems, but I'm not.B1GHAM said:that sucks dude... I think you just hit that random 1:10000 bad luck...
I would call Mazda and explain your situation. Most likey you will not get anywhere by trying to argue the case to the dealership. You will get more answers and more action taken by dealing with Mazda directly. But I guess this would be in an extreme case. Not quite sure you are there yet.nondual said:I bought it in North Carolina and now I'm in California. Which law applies?

That's pretty extreme. You can't base the quality of a vehicle based on a few cars that are having trouble. Certainly not Mazda as a whole.nondual said:No one I know will EVER buy a Mazda now, and several of them had high opinions of the brand beforehand....
I'm just telling you what they're telling me....AJsMSP said:That's pretty extreme. You can't base the quality of a vehicle based on a few cars that are having trouble. Certainly not Mazda as a whole.

This is just plain bad press on Mazda's part.
Next time, I'll go with a Honda or something....
They didn't replace the engine actually....they said they were going to, but the service manager said that they wouldn't be replacing the engine after all.C'ville said:Dude so they replaced you engine and everything which is great.
The cel is a know problem with an updated part, they should have updated that part when they replaced the engine.
NO CAR IS PERFECT
yea thats bad....you should definitely not switch to honda.......just get a gun and start shooting people.......LOL there is nothign to say here. you make your own decision and its obvious u already made it, my car is badass...no problems and im always satisfied with mazda cars....im sure many people feel the same way....but if you get a honda ull see speed3's drive by and you'll say "dam, that car is so much better than mine"nondual said:They didn't replace the engine actually....they said they were going to, but the service manager said that they wouldn't be replacing the engine after all.
I just want more than a month without dragging the thing to the dealer.
I really want to love this car, but it's been a pain in the ass since the first month I bought it....
Only if I forget that it's most likely in the shop nearly once a month....clos561 said:yea thats bad....you should definitely not switch to honda.......just get a gun and start shooting people.......LOL there is nothign to say here. you make your own decision and its obvious u already made it, my car is badass...no problems and im always satisfied with mazda cars....im sure many people feel the same way....but if you get a honda ull see speed3's drive by and you'll say "dam, that car is so much better than mine"
