So after about 4 hours, I finally got my Microtech LT10s installed. Checked all my connections again with the instructions and everything is connected properly. I unscrewed the screw on the Throttle Body and turn it back once. Connected everything, linked my MT to my computer via COM4.....turned the ignition on and the green light turns on. I went to the TPSCal screen set my Value to 0%., but the orange light on the MT doesn't come on like it is suppoed to according to the Manual......none the less I step on the gas pedal and the value increases as supposed to......

I checked the timing and initial setup the values weren't exactly where they were supposed to be so I adjusted them.....

I attempted the start the car and it cranked but wouldn't start, only crank.

Please help. I need to get this going by Saturday evening.(coffee)

So I dropped the TPSCal from 18% to 17% and the Amber light stays on like it supposed to....but I still can't get the car to start......tried adjusting the MixTrm value....I was originally at -03%, went down because I am running 440s to -10% and all the way up to 12% and nothing changed. still cranks and tried to catch but it wont. all is hear is the backfires and it trying to catch for a split second and then stalls.

Try and get in Steve at NSN. Or Lord Worm they are the Microtech guru's

Keep adjusting those values. It may take a wider range. Once you get it running you'll definitely want to pay attention to the AFRs and get it tuned properly.

thanks for the reply, before i posted this post i pm'd Steve he called me the following day and helped me out alot. what happened was i was floodin my combustion chambers with fuel while tryin to adjust the mixtrm. i put in fresh plugs after i got the gas out and changed my oil. changed the mixtrm to 9% and it fired up first try....

with the afr before the thermostat opened the afr was around 13.7 but the battery light was on, checked the resistor for the iat sensor and it was soldered and insulated properly. but when the thermostat opened the battery light went off , and thr afr went uber rich to 10.0, i adjusted the water temp map down and got my afr between 13.6 & 15.2 but the water temp gauge on the microtech turned red at 99^c...........my question it how can i get the fans to turn on around 65^c?.........my stock water temp gauge reads properly though. steve talked with me about it but we talked about so much i cant recall for the life of me how.

I ordered the same borla exhaust too, and love the way it sounds it also looks very nice. I have people asking me all the time what kind of exhaust it is because it sounds so good. I got mine from borla parts here, borla 60502 and was pleased with the price a delivery time. You should also check craigslist sometimes you can find a used set.

LMAO

What kinda garbage??? Damn I thought someone had a useful suggestion to this, what a waste of a click to my post.(screwy)

no. I have control of the auxiliary fan, aka the a/c fan. and have control of the water temp sensor.........I can't adjust it below whatever temp the car is currently at because the car stalls...(i.e. lets say the car is running at 99*C and I drop it to 98*C the car stalls.)......I tried dropping the * while the ACC power was on and then starting the car, but I then idle ridiculously lean to where all i see on the wideband is ---.

On another note, the battery light.......double checked the Resistor I connected between the stock harness for the IAT, it was secured in properly.......but my volts when the car is running now is 11.8v, obviously throwing the battery light to be on.....my turbo timer shows the samething, and I connected my battery tester to the battery and got the same voltage.......so now thats pretty much rules everything out but the alternator. So does that mean by some freak way that the same time I connected the MicroTech my alternator shitted on me?.......Anyone have any suggestions on this? Thats all thats left that I can think of.

One more thing, today I was messing with it somemore and the factory stock water temperature gauge started running hot but the Microtech said I was between 99*C- 100*C.........Not sure why but I don't know why it went that way.....anyone have any ideas?

So after a long conversation with TurfBurn, We discovered the main fan will not turn on until it hits 101*C, and that would have never occured because the A/C fan kicks on b4 that.....
Figured out the battery issue as well. It definitely was the alternator, somehow it just randomly went bad at the sametime I installed the MT10s.

TurfBurn also explained how to connect both fans with the relay and run both at the sametime to cool the car and the gt2871 i have alot better..gonna do that tonight and hopefulyl all will be well again.....THANKS TURFBURN!!
