i need a quick answer PLEASE!

im taking out the head unit on the MSP and ive got the panel half way popped off, but at the bottom by the AC controls something seem to be holding it in and i cant get the rest of the panel out because of that! can anyone tell me what it may be if they have taken theirs out before? thanks guys.

you dont have to take any panel off to get out the deck. Simply slide the keys in the sides and you can pull the deck right out...

im talking about the kenwood head unit from what i have found ive seen its like taking out a regular head unit.

i suggest removing the glove box and looking for possible mounting points. have you taken out the pocket yet? you may need to do that first.

remove black trim ring on radio/slide butter knives in on each side of head unit and pull the unit out/there is no need to remove the hole panel

I know that, i had to remove mine when i put in my sirius unit. All you do is remove the black trim and slide the keys on each side (or a butter knife) and the radio pops right out...

Yup don't bother with any trim pieces.

Also if you're just installed Sirius or something like that you can reach around if you take the glovebox out.
