I need a non turbo mp3 ecu

Since you had a "swap" done, was the whole engine swapped out for a turbo'ed FS and then swapped back to non-turbo? Of did you simply remove the whole turbo setup? As far as I'm concerned, both engines are virtually the same because Mazda never changed the compression with the MSP or anything else for that matter. In that case, I think (but am not entirely certain) there is someone here on the forums who can reflash ECU's. What you can do is get an ES ECU reflashed if you can't get the current ECU reflashed. Reason why I would suggest this is that an MP3 ECU is VERY hard to come by...

The motor was completely swapped out now the original is back in. I already have a turbo car and unfortunately I didn't build the car. My plans are to make keep it all motor. The problem is the car loses power in the midrange (3-5200) where (I am guessing from experiences with my other turbo car) boost would kick in. Also the car is giving me a CEL for shift solenoid d and obviously the car is manual. Also it's reading the MAF is off. I pulled the ecu out and low and behold its for a stock auto es. So either this is chipped for boost or I got screwed out of an ecu

Look to see of there is a piggy back spliced in somewhere. I've never heard of someone chipping our ecu.the car is very slow stock so it may just be that your maf sensor is bad. I'm assuming that at 5200 you get a small boost in power?

Does it still have the ssafc? If not you will have to inspect all the wires they spliced into and make sure they're not cut, it could be the code you're getting for the maf
