Awesome car...love your color choice!!
haha, thanks, I really wanted that color and Im glad I found one for a dec price and with basically everything I was looking for, and then It happened to be the color I wanted too. I was suppose to sell the msp first but I retalked it over with the bank because I didn't want to let this evo go and the guy couldn't hold it much longer for me. and then I just gotta refinance once the msp is sold.
-yes the msp is up for sale. gotta go so I can pay some downpayment.
-thanks everyone, yea it was a good deal, and it was a ton of fun drivin back the evo and the msp btw. we had a little bit of fun.

Congrats on the Upgrade, Love the Ev0 MR and the choice of color too. If you don't mind me askin how many miles are on the MR and how much did you pay?? Are there any modifications done to the Ev0???? How much you selling the MSP for.......
sorry for 2 many questions, just wonderin....lol

haha, not a big deal, yes the evo has 20k on it, the guy I bought it from kept it basically new!! I should take a pic of the engine, clean enough to eat off of, and he had never opened the original mats in they're original packaging, plus there was still the stickers on the side door from the factory about how to work the acd. also he even left the clear plastic tape thing that covered the mr badge near the shifter, I honestly felt like I was buying a brand new car. I got it for $25,000 which is really good for 05 mr with 20k on it. and especially in that good of condition and broken in correctly. the evo has an cat-back exhaust and an cai on it.
I'm selling the msp either with or without mods, i dont really know yet, I have it listed on car soup without mods and I have it listed on craigslist with mods at one price or without mods at anotherprice. i'd like to get at least 12,500 for it without mods, it blue books at 15,500 but it seems like everyone else is just giving these things away, our value is way under blue book. it runs great and has never given me a problem, and I would be willing to give it for 13,500 with mods, and honestly, it pulls so much harder with mods its crazy! im surprized how hard that car pulls, let me just tell you, we wooped some cadalac cts sport (the 5sec one with corvette logo on the back) on the way to pick up the evo, the guy passed us with a bad look and you could just tell he was thinking "Japanese crap piece o sht" but then when he got on the on ramp i turned it to 10 psi and we hurt him pretty bad, I gained on him the whole on ramp until we got on the highway where I passed, my friend was out the window wavin his arms around and coverin his mouth. and the guy was pissed, he just shook his head and looked down, he just paid 60,000 for that car and just got wooped by two kids in a mazda. haha, sorry for the long story and thanks for all the interest.

i was gonna say that didn't look like the stock exhaust. and they make cais for our car? who makes it? i know ARC and a few other companies make a separator that the filter sits in to keep it separate from the engine compartment but never seen a cai. btw, if you have an intake it's time for a tune or you'll run super rich and not get power. intake is not normally one of the first mods.

time to make it fast :)

I thought the stock air box on those are good till around 400hp?

they are, maybe not quite that high but pretty close. people who want performance normally just do a drop-in at those power levels. people who want the cool noises do the intake early on and then complain when their car doesn't seem to run right and is down on power because they didn't get a tune to compensate or because it's screwing with the readings their MAF is getting

oh really, well good to know, I have the stock airbox, but I think he got a tune. I could ask him. it doesnt look like a full cai because the air intake off the turbo is plastic, but it is hella huge, like 3 inches. I think it is just a nice intake cone filter rather than the stock airbox. I actually have a prosport digital air to fuel ratio gauge I bought for the msp at a group buy, and a really nice boost gauge, I'd like to put them in but they are 52mm and the stock gauge spot is way smaller. that way I could tell if i was running rich at least, but it sure dont feel like it, turbo has more lag than the msp but as soon as it hits its nuts. anyways I would like to get some stuff into it, haha its so fast now lol, but I think I am gonna leave it as stock as it is for now, at least until I make a few payments on it and regain some funds.

Very nice ride, I did think about an Evo IX a couple of time myself but settled on this in the end.

bow chicka bow wow!
