I messed up my Nav while updating can anyone tell me how to redo SD card?

:
2013 Mazda CX-5 Touring
I tried to update the maps and software on my navigation and I pulled the card out before I was supposed to and my computer told me I lost data. when I put it back in the computer would not read the card. I tried to put it in the car and it did update something but would not work after the upload even after a few times restarting the car to restart the nav system. I didn't see the backup section before I updated.
So I went onto tom tom's website and tried to find the answer and also called there tech line up and was on hold for 2 1/2 hours while trying to find the answer. after trying a few things i found on there site I found one for formatting the sd card. So I copied all the files onto my hard drive and formatted the sd card. I then reinstalled 2 of the files and the tom tom program was able to read the drive again so I did what the instructions said to do and did the auto search for updates and it updated everything. I put it in my car and the nav worked to an extent again. It would route me correctly but when I try to look at the map it gives me some other part of the state I am not in. Then while playing my music loud all of a sudden the voice stops working and then comes back but is very low. I was able to hear the voice at 40% now I have it at 100% and I can barely hear it.

Is there any way of downloading the original files to the SD card so I can start over?
I was thinking of bringing my laptop to the dealer and seeing if i could use one from one of there cars and redo my SD card that way but i doubt they would be willing to let me do that.

All fixed. My Mazda dealership hooked me up and changed out the nav system for me free of charge.

No surprise that it happened to you and I'm sure the dealers have plenty of people who come in with a similar problem. Not everyone is tech savvy and it would be great if it was SOP that the dealers would offer to update the nav within 60 days of delivery. It just seems that it would go a long way in customer relations.

This is the only gps I have ever had a problem like this with. I have updated my Garmin's plenty of times and never had a problem like this. If I read the instructions in the beginning I probably would not of had this problem. I am in the middle of updating the new one now and before I started I made 2 different backups of the drive before beginning. This time I read the instructions and it is going fine so far.
