...I thought id give you guys something to do. im sitting here with about $900 in change ive saved up and im trying to figure out what to do with it. Right now ive got an injen cai, circuit sports 2.5" catless downpipe and a mbc coming. I have a defi boost gauge installed and an a/f sitting on my desk waiting for me to buy the other 2 gauges to accompany it under my radio i havent bought yet. Ive been racking my brain for a couple weeks, i cant decide if i wanna get an ion fmic which would be the only thing i could get for the time being or use the money on other things like the oil pres and egt gauges i want, hard pipes, short shifter (maybe, i already shift fast enough to grid it sometimes when i put it in 2nd when racing), etc. I wanna run 10 psi daily. lemme know what you guys think and please dont flame me, i had to wake up at 330am after only 3 hours of sleep to catch a plane out here to denver so im extremely exhausted and couldnt resist the urge to ask you guys. id love a fmic because it looks just plain badass and im kinda leaning towards that and im thinking the ion one because i can run a bigger radiator then the hiboost one, plus the core is bigger. ok, enough babbling. Go with the fmic. Dont waste $900 on gauges and accessories. You can always save up money for that kind of stuff but a fmic is expensive I would get that first.
 
yes ive spend alot of money on gauges Short shifterS ( notice the S ive tried 2) and bushings..
since u have 900 just go with the FMIC and btw the iON fmic is about a 1000 shipped..
 
cvp... i will have my hiboost installed by the middle of this week. i also have the 2.5" full exhaust. let me know if you wanna check these out in person before you make your decision.
 
ya thats cool man id love to see it. i get back from denver wed afternoon but my gf is going to take up the rest of my day more than likely then i work 4-12 thurs and fri. lemme know what would be good for you or you can just im me at cvphere when you see me get on sometime late wed.
 
Do a custom FMIC.

intercooler-$200-$500
silicone couplers and clamps-$160
pipes $150

then you can route it where ever you want and use what ever size you want.

I have mine going through the holes in the fender wells,with 2 1/2" pipe.
and it's bitchen.

I drive about 200 miles a day and I haven't expierinced heat soak yet.
my core is 22"x9"x2 1/2"
