I just ordered the AEM SRI, questions

I ordered my AEM SRI today from Sounddomain and I was wondering if anyone knew how long it took before they shipped it out. Eh hem... Bijou-MP5 maybe you could help me out. How long before it came to your house.
I would also like to know what the purge solenoid is and I need to know I need to know how to take out the Temp. thing on the intake. Just pull it out or unscrew it out or something?
Also for anyone who tried this out, I was going to goto Home depot or Lowe's and get tubing of some sort and set it up on my MP3 bumper so it collects air and exits into the AEM filter therefore getting cold air from the outside. Would it work?

oh, then how do you take out the purge solenoid, just pull it right off, unscrew some screws and pull it out or what?
