Gonna be honest, a lift isn't necessary, but ramps or jackstands are. And if I were you, I wouldn't attempt it without an impact. They're cheap and you can probably borrow a compressor from someone. If there's any rust at all, you may not even be able to budge the bolts, especially from the j-pipe to the midpipe. The last thing you want to do is break bolts!
Crazy, I was jsut gonna look for the same thing.
I just order the seal ring and a new Mani Gasket.
If you find a install guide be sure to post the link.
I will do the same. Matt22
I got my bolts out with a ratchet and a can of liquid wrench. The only thing is that I needed to use a torch to get the bolts off the springs because it came off the wrong way, lol. You definitely need some way to get under your car, if not a lift or ramp, at least a jack and some jack stands.
I don't know about helping MPG, but I am sure it doesn't hurt it. I have been getting about 26-30 on average. On one occasion on a long trip, lots of constant 70-80 mph cruising, I ended up with a average of 35.5 mpg (craZy), who needs a prius.
