Gave in and bought a COBB AP from Protege Garage! I am excited for it! sooo what are some of the first things I should do when I install it?

Congrats, if you are going OTS route then start with Stage1+SF 91 Octane. After 50 miles of easy driving log some pulls and see how car is running. But the TMIC and RP will make it difficult scince I don't think there's a MAP for those parts. Better to go custom tune.

I actually do believe they have a TMIC map, but it's stage 2. i've heard some people having success with stage 2 with just a testpipe, but +1, go with the stage 1 maps first and see how your car responds.

where would be the nearest place to get a tune done? I am located in North dakota and I have a feeling there isnt one fro thousands of miles!

yea that sucks. unfortunately cobb stopped doing their e-tunes. Mazdamaniac apparently still does them according to their site, anyone ever tried them?
