I finally did it three!

Just crank up the volume on the radio

Mazda Dealership Service folks do the same thing...

so i've developed this clang sound when i hit a bump...sounds like it's coming from the passenger rear area...noticed it yesterday drving thru belmont, boy do the belmont roads suck big time! anyway, didn't have time to check it out last night...sounds like the heat shield around the muffler???
so i finally had some time this week to throw the car up on the lift, and after playing with my muffler and heat shiled trying to reproduce the "clanging" i figured out what it was...the bolt that holds the abs sensor in must have not got tightened down after the spring install and it back all the way out...the bracket thats attached to the wire was hitting the dust shield on the wheel! problem solved!

Nice. I need to track down all my little noises. No motivation. :(

I'm getting a squeak from the front drivers side suspension, a clunk in the rear that I only hear with the top up, a rattle in the dash board at idle...

Etc..

Once I develop the spent fuel reclaiming system for the car so that I catch some of what I spit all over the fronts of cars... Hahahaha.
