Although I haven't cheated at all yet in 3 full days, I don't think I can survive without fish and seafood a couple times a week. I know that I won't drink milk ever again because it grosses me out now (even after a only couple of days), and I will avoid cheese.
I am not going to go overboard on this and go 100 percent vegan yet. I know I want to cut out beef and chicken and pork. I would eat natural stuff like elk or venison if it were offered. Maybe other organic meat, but I want to get away from the modern "traditional" meats that American's eat now.
So, I guess I will be eating vegan about 75% or more of the time. I will decide later if I want to go 100 percent vegan.
There are a lot of horror stories about the meat industry, both with the stuff in the meat and the way the animals are kept and killed. Yes, I know fish and other sea creatures feel pain, but they aren't like cows or chickens or pigs IMHO. They aren't herded and treated cruely their entire lives.
I don't concider hunting cruel either, for the most part. My friends bow hunt, which is fair game.
That is where I stand, if anyone gives a damn.
